Throughout his career, Virgil has built, managed, and motivated teams of smart, independent, innovative and eager-to-learn, loyal professionals who have a true sense of ownership of the products they create and support. Most recently Virgil was Centro's CTO, after six years as CTO of MyPoints.com, followed by more than 4 years in senior technology leadership positions at United Airlines and its subsidiaries.
Virgil is a true believer in agile software development, a big supporter of the FOSS movement, a Computer Science instructor at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and an information security consultant.
Over the years, we've collectively worked in-depth with a large number of start-ups and established companies in a number of capacities.
You may have already picked up on this, but we're very passionate about our work and we're also very multi-dimensional. We spend a lot of our spare time building tools to make tasks easier for ourselves and those like us. In addition, we spend a lot of time just being creative and sharing that creativity with others. One could say we're interested in art for art's sake; the process, the product, and the effects. We firmly believe in giving back to our respective communities through direct participation.
